My name is Susie and I am the owner of Pug Palace and the Snugly Pug B&B. I am a part-time high school science teacher and spend the rest of my time taking care of our "royal family" of pugs at Pug Palace. I am a Missouri state and USDA licensed breeder and recently realized my dream of becoming a short-order cook with the opening of the Snugly Pug B&B. This is a photo of me and my Goldie, who pretty much rules the kingdom here at Pug Palace!
Our Story
Pug Palace all started with a little girl's love for pugs. My daughter, who was around 10 years old at the time, had received a dog book from one of her teachers. It was there that she discovered pugs, and she instantly fell in love with their squashy faces. One day, I went up to her bedroom and saw pictures of pugs plastered all over her walls and I said to her, "Those are the ugliest dogs I've ever seen!", and she said to me, "But mooom! I really want one for my birthday!". So we went and bought this little pug for her birthday. She was the runt of the litter - hyper and bouncy and full of personality - and my daughter named her Duchess. She was the first of our "royal family". Now here I am, all these years later with Pug Palace, and I love pugs just as much as my daughter did back then!​

I am a Missouri state and USDA licensed kennel breeder, and I have been in business for 22 years. This little business has grown from a small hobby on the side to something I can't imagine myself not doing. I spend more time outside with all of my dogs than I do inside my house sometimes! At Pug Palace, we are committed to raising healthy, happy pugs. All puppies are sent home with registration papers and a health guarantee. We would love to see your Pug Palace pups after they are in their new home!
In 2022, we officially opened the Snugly Pug B&B at our country homestead. It's always been a dream of mine to be a short-order cook, and I will finally have that dream realized with this new endeavor! Our space includes beautiful country views and a quiet, relaxing getaway! You can choose between multiple packages to make your stay as snugly as possible!
